Many traffic island construction projects have been successfully completed by the Blue Peak Constructions team. These include an omnicrete treatment in Keysborough South for Dandenong City Council, six raised platforms for Frankston City Council in the Seaford and Frankston South area, as well as eight watts profile speed humps in Seaford.
This LATM project was a package of eleven sites over two stages, delivered for the City of Greater Dandenong. These projects included asphalt raised platforms, threshold treatments and pedestrian crossings at a number of intersections. Our team enjoyed working on this diverse package in different locations across Keysborough.
The Blue Peak Constructions team completed a number of LATM type projects for Frankston City Council. These LATM works included three separate raised intersections treatments and three watts profile speed humps, all in asphalt. To achieve this, we reconstructed the kerb, installed drainage, concrete footpath and crossovers, linemarking and signage.
The package of nine watts profile speed humps was delivered for Frankston City Council. The speed humps were constructed out of asphalt, and completed with linemarking, RRPMs and signage. This was a huge improvement to the existing local road infrastructure.
Six raised platform intersection treatments were constructed in asphalt for the City of Greater Dandenong as part of the project. With each separate site averaging around 80 tonnes of asphalt, this package saw the team installing just under 500 tonnes of asphalt. The raised platforms were completed with a Brick Stencil pattern on top to highlight and further distinguish the intersection. Proving to be a broad scope project, concrete kerb, crossovers, footpath, linemarking, RRPMs and signage were also installed in this package.
Glen Eira City Council engaged the Blue Peak Constructions team on a LATMs project on Neerim Road. The objective was to improve pedestrian safety in the area by incorporating a new crossing area. The project included the construction of a raised platform, upgrading the kerb and channel, footpath work, drainage in the area, and fresh line marking.
Raised platform works were completed by the Blue Peak Constructions team for the City of Moreland on one of the busiest intersections in Brunswick - Melville & Moreland Roads. A great project ensuring a safer space for pedestrians and vehicle traffic.
