These drainage and easement works may include the construction of pits, drainage lines, easements and working around underground services.
Our team recognise the importance of providing the most effective water distribution and channeling solutions. Blue Peak’s portfolio of drainage works in Melbourne is a testament to the incredibly high quality of our work.
A car park extension including major drainage works saw this exciting project come together, completed underneath the overhead building. Including 320m of 300mm storm-pro drainage pipe, thirty pits, SPEL drainage chambers and one detention tank.
Our team constructed two drainage works projects for Bayside City Council. At Myrtle Street, the project included concrete pipes, plus the modification of a water main. At Banksia Reserve we took care of the installation of storm-pro pipes in a curved alignment around a football oval.
This drainage works project involved both a Council easement drain upgrade as well as outfall drainage running down the road to connect into the council drainage system. The Blue Peak Constructions team installed approximately 150m of 300mm diameter pipe, multiple pits and reinstated asphalt and kerb where required.
Connecting directly into a Melbourne water drain, our team bored a 525mm diameter pipe underneath three backyards, and connected in a further two backyards with 450mm diameter pipes. We were mindful of being in residents backyards and minimised disruption as much as possible, receiving a letter of thanks for our works. Upon completion, we re-instated the landscaping of the backyards, and installed instant turf.
Council sought to mitigate flood issues by providing storm surge, underground storage capacity and upgrade their drainage network in one. We installed approximately 50m of 1350mm, 1200mm and 900mm diameter concrete pipe, with a further 70m of smaller 375mm, 450mm and 600mm diameter pipes. Also included in these drainage works were twelve pits including multiple large double reinforced corbeled 1.5m x 2.2m chambers. Works were finished off with the reinstatement of a bluestone laneway, the asphalt roadway and a splitter island.
